With over a decade of experience, Mackenzie specializes in fine-line and single needle tattoos, though she loves to work in a variety of styles ranging from realism (micro or otherwise), heavier/dark themes and styles, soft and airy styles, ornamental pieces designed to flatter your form, clean minimalism or maximalist designs packed with yummy intricacies and textures.

Mackenzie will always jump at the opportunity to work on a project with new or interesting subject matter but some of her current favourite subject matter are: Flora, Fauna, Humans, Muses, Fantasy Creatures & Fairy Tale Inspired, Cryptids, Animals, Ornamental & Fractal designs (Mandalas, etc.), ( really anything playful, spooky, magical, inspired, scary, elegant, empowering or celebrative of nature, love, life and even death)

For those of us who want to see a finalized design ahead of time with the option to request edits as the design evolves before committing to the final design.

Ample Design/Editing Time Prior to Session Day = Higher Rate

PROCESS: Your artist will begin your design 2-3 weeks prior to your chosen session date and will email drafts to you for your feedback until you are feeling 100% about the final draft.

*Best for first timers or those with a very specific vision in their head that they would like to see come to life.

For those of us who feel confident in their artist's portfolio and are comfortable with not knowing exactly what the finished product will look like

No Design/Editing Time Prior to Session Day = Lower Rate

PROCESS: On your session date; your artist will use a skin pen to draw out a loose guide (no refined details) directly onto your skin. You will then have the option to make edits to the rough guide until you feel comfortable with the overall placement and shape. Once you give the go-ahead, you will begin the tattoo process.

*Best for coverups, large pieces prioritizing a very specific fit and flow with your body's shapes or to blend with or navigate around old tattoos.

*Not compatible with projects that require photo realistic recreations of specific people, places, pets, etc., or designs that require mathematical perfection or symmetry (i.e. manadalas, sacred geometry, symmetrical
